Yeah. They went to and back for a while, but we've got it now.

Also difficult to get a marriage license when you got out of prison through the back door.

Doesn't really matter, I never paid taxes anyway.

I'm not your people's Captain Cold. Don't really know how to make that less unsettling for you. Although not asking things you don't want to know might help.

I don't think there is any way to make it less unsettling. It'll just take time to adjust to. Which is why I'm asking questions in the first place. I was hoping maybe getting to know you would make it less weird.

No. Actually recently single, I think. We didn't really have the time to talk things through before I showed up here.

I'm not, not really. I wasn't exactly blindsided by him asking me to move out for awhile.

Moving to another universe does feel a little bit like overkill, now that you mention it, intentional or not.

Presumably you'll get back eventually. I'm still not sure whether that's a good or bad thing, mostly offers lack of permanence.

But some people here aren't that bad, so there's that.

Well, at least I'm not in any big hurry to get back home. If it happens, it happens. If not, that's okay for now, too.
